General Terms & Conditions

By making an appointment, you agree to all of our terms and conditions and it is your responsibility to honour them.

 

Deposit

We reserve the right to request a £20 deposit from new clients for the initial session. Refundable up to 24 hours prior to your appointment.

 

Deals 

You can take one offer, deal or package/course at a time as they are not accumulative and they don't qualify for the Loyalty Card. The limited offers end in the due date. So, check before you book and/or buy.

 

How to change or cancel an appointment

Cancellations/reschedules should be made by emailing, texting or calling leaving your name, telephone number and email address so we can get back to you to confirm the cancellation.

 

Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and are valid for as long as it states on each voucher from the purchase date and will not be accepted after the expiry date, with no exceptions. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred. Late cancellation and "failure to show" terms as laid out above also apply to gift vouchers - which will be voided at the salon should you fail to give the required notice. Please check required notice periods.

 

Online Deals

Such as Facebook or Groupon. These vouchers expire when stated on the deal and they will not accepted afterwards. Late cancellation and "failure to show" will void the deal.

 

Standing Order Schemes (SOS)
  • Minimum of 6-month commitment. The reason you may book a Plan is to see obvious results and improvement of your condition with regular sessions. Non applicable to 30 and 45-minute sessions.
  • Payment is to be made by standing order on the first 5 days of each of the 6 months.
  • We cannot refund you if you drop the sessions or if you fail to make it to your appointment when given less than 24 hour notice.
  • We will only be able to refund you in the case of city/country change, for which you may be asked to show proof of new address.
  • In the case of a health condition worsening and becoming a contraindication of massage, you will need to provide with medical proof. If you are not able to do so, you can pass the Plan to someone else.
  • If you fail to complete the minimum 6-month period, what had been discounted will then become an outstanding balance that will need to be paid within 14 days plus a £10 admin fee. So let's say that you sign up for the "Maintenance pack" at £45/month but only make it to the first three sessions, £15 would then become an outstanding balance you would have to pay in order to cancel the package or even to book any other sessions with us. This is to avoid misuse of the kind discount.
  • The extras are not included in this scheme as they are already discounted but they can still be added.

 

Course of Sessions

  • All courses are to be paid in advance in a one-off bulk payment.
  • We cannot refund you if you drop the sessions or if you fail to make it to your appointment or if you cancel/reschedule with less than 24-hour notice.
  • We will only be able to refund you in the case of city/country change and we will need proof of the new address.
  • In the case of a health condition worsening and becoming a contraindication of massage, you will need to provide with medical proof. If you are not able to do so, you will have to pass the remaining credit (if any) to someone else. Cancellation terms as stated above apply.

 

Our Right to Cancel and Make Changes

We reserve the right to:
  • Modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the website
  • Change of the terms and conditions: it is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the conditions still suit your needs. If you do not agree to any change to the conditions, then you must immediately stop using the website and/or our services.

 

Mobile Phones

In the interest of comfort of all our clients, please refrain from using a mobile phone and ensure it is switched off for the full duration of your treatment.

 

Children

Please understand that we can cannot accommodate for children under 12 - unless supervised by an adult during your treatment. If you are unable to find a babysitter and decide to bring a baby into the therapies room, it is under your responsibility to ensure his/her wellbeing and safety.

 

Payment

All prices are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. The total cost of your booking or product is the price as set out on this website. There may be some old flyers around with different prices on them and only the ones on the website apply. You confirm that the credit, debit card, that is being used is yours. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. For gift vouchers and products: If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. These Terms & Conditions apply to any Solaris Therapeutic Massage York’s adds in the internet too.

 

Internet E-Mail

Any unprotected E-Mail communication over the Internet is, as with communication via any other medium (e.g. cellular phones, post office mail), not confidential, subject to possible interception or loss, and is also subject to possible alteration.

 

Links/Software

Links from or to web sites outside the Site are meant for convenience only. Solaris Therapeutic Massage does not review, endorse, approve or control, and is not responsible for any sites linked from or to the Site, the content of those sites, the third parties named therein, or their products and services. Linking to any other site is at your sole risk and Solaris Therapeutic Massage will not be responsible or liable for any damages in connection with linking. Links to downloadable software sites are for convenience only and Solaris Therapeutic Massage is not responsible or liable for any difficulties or consequences associated with downloading the software.
